HOA Members vote to join CentralStar Cooperative
We’re happy to share the HOA membership unanimously voted in favor of dissolution. This decision marks an exciting new chapter for all of us, and we’re confident it will benefit your dairy operation in the years ahead.
As we move forward with the service provided by CentralStar effective March 3, 2025, we want to assure you that you will experience minimal changes. CentralStar is committed to making the transition as seamless as possible for you. Here’s what you can expect:
Additionally, getting DHI service from CentralStar will expand the resources and services available to you, including easier access to diagnostic testing options such as A1/A2, Bovine Leukosis, BVD, Johne’s, mastitis, and pregnancy. To show appreciation for your continued business, any diagnostic tests ordered within the first six months you test with CentralStar DHI will receive a 20% rebate, credited to your account in October 2025.
CentralStar has a long-standing, proven track record of providing high-quality DHI services. With their ongoing investment in research and innovative diagnostic tests, this merger will deliver even greater value to your farm. The CentralStar team will be working closely with HOA employee team members to ensure a smooth and successful transition.
We understand you may have questions, and we’re here to help. If you have questions, please reach out to your DHI Specialist, myself, or a member of the CentralStar DHI team.

As we move forward with the service provided by CentralStar effective March 3, 2025, we want to assure you that you will experience minimal changes. CentralStar is committed to making the transition as seamless as possible for you. Here’s what you can expect:
- Records processing and reports will remain the same. Like HOA, CentralStar processes records through DRMS.
- Your DHI Specialist will remain the same. All HOA employee team members have been extended an offer to become part of the CentralStar team. If they choose not to join the CentralStar team, we will communicate with you.
- Results will be reported in a similar timeframe. Over time, sample processing will transition from MQT Labs to CentralStar's Kaukauna, Wis., laboratory. We’re finalizing the details on timing and shipping methods.
